Hi, I’m Nathanael.
I’m an energy expert, rapid prototyper, and sustainability change agent. I work on widely varying projects, such as renewable energy contracting, large language models, web development, data science, computer simulations, and more.
I thrive on applying emerging technologies to critically-important problems in sustainability, economics, transportation, energy, education, and general scientific research.
My most recent project is a tool to stay current on recent pre-published research in computer science, mathematics, quantitative economics, and data science.
I work with ruby, rails, python, django, javascript, large language models, moderngl, webgl, blender, pygame, tensorflow, linux, nginx, aws, gcloud, and more.
I’m actively seeking new opportunities, so let’s talk about creating something great.
What would a semantic graph look like as a 3D visualization?
This was the first spark of an idea for an interactive 3D immersive literature exploration tool…

How It’s Made
Pull the most recent pre-published manuscripts from ArXiv, BiorXiv, ChemXiv, PubMed and more with Semantic Scholar.
1
Identify topics covered in each paper using natural language processing (OpenAI and Mixtral of Experts).
2
3
Graph topics connected by a shared coverage in one paper using NetworkX.
4
Model the graph in 3D with three.js.
